Hey everyone, I know it has been ages since I last posted and for that I am sorry, although really the biggest apology that I owe is to myself.
I spent a lot of time and effort setting up my blog and I loved writing and sharing my take on everything from fashion to foundation! A lot has changed in the past few months though, some of which I will share with you in my writing, but it was a perfect storm of life changing events and for a while I kind of lost myself without even realising. It’s funny how you don’t realise how something has changed until it gets back to normal. Like if you’ve ever lost your hearing because of a cold and then one day it suddenly comes back and you realise how amazing it is to hear properly again. That’s what happened to me recently and I realised I needed to stop being unmotivated and get my shine back again and here I am.
I realised as well since I was last here that even if I am not feeling great about myself and the way I look or do makeup or dress, there is always someone else out there who looks at you and thinks “wow I wish I could do that” and that really motivated me to not let those people down.
So here I am, pretty much the same old me but definitely a bit older and perhaps even a bit wiser now too. So what will I be talking about here now? Pretty much the same stuff from my favourite fashions, my go to make-up, real world weight loss struggles, image advice but most importantly this will be a place for me to come and be myself, so I hope you all like it 🙂
Lots of love, Leanne
So once again I am sitting down to write something off the cuff, so I apologise for the lack of good content! Writing takes a lot of time (which I really dont have at the moment) but I promise I really am working to get more organised and write better content for you!
Part of that content is going to include tutorials and the inspiration for those tutorials comes from many different places, but mostly it is inspiration from women I see either out and about, on television or online so I thought I would share some of that inspiration with you!
So these two are obvious, but Kylie and Adele are two of my absolute faves and although they seem really opposite to one another they are actually more similar than you might think! They both have completely unique styles and a matching badass attitude and that is what I admire! I love that they arent afraid to try new things and it reminds me to continune to do the same, plus they both always look flawless which is always fun to attempt to recreate!
Becca Rose is one of my fave bloggers/vloggers because she is so adorable and her sixties style is right up my street! I hope for even a small amount of the success she has and I would be happy!
So some of you may recognise Helen George from Strictly and Call the Midwife! She is on my list because she totally rocks being a doe eyed, cute blonde and she gives me major hair envy (along with Becca Rose) and makes me want to cut a fringe back in so bad!
Lucy Watson from Made In Chelsea is also a huge inspiration of mine because I love her clothes. She has such a fun and eclectic style and even though what she wears is so varied, she manages to make every look her own without looking like a fashion chaser!
And this is “Liv” from Izombie! Played by Rose Mciver, my inspiration here is actually the character Liv. I love her style (even if it is zombie) and her ice white hair and amazing eye makeup make me want to dye my hair this colour and release my inner emo a little bit!
I hope that you enjoyed getting to find out more about my inspirations and look forward to seeing me try more looks from them soon 🙂 Let me know who inspires you in the comments below and also let me know if you have any ideas of what you would like to see my try hair wise next 🙂
Lots of love, Leanne xx
